Camelback Rugby will be having practice on Thursday July 12th from 7-9pm at Longview Elementary School (12th St & Indian School) as long as the weather permits it.  Practice will be cancelled if the field is not in good enough condition.  Please check the events on the Camelback Rugby Facebook page as there are a few coming up that team organizers NEED to know who will be attending.

August 4th: Back Bay Rugby Tournament, Newport Beach, CA — Summer 7’s in the Sand.  Camelback Rugby will be participating in this tournament and we need to know which guys are interested in attending.  This will be a great opportunity for building our team as we move towards the regular season.  Contact Skyler King for fees and questions 480.363.7131

Camelback Rugby will be practicing on Thursdays this summer from 7-9pm at Longview Elementary School in Phoenix (12th St & Indian School).  The team will be focusing a portion of the time dedicated to playing rugby 7’s as well as teaching new and experienced players the fundamentals of the game.  Players of all experience levels are welcome to come join us and learn the game of rugby or improve and build upon your current skills.   

Are you new to rugby???  Not a problem!  We have coaches that will spend the time teaching you the sport and how to play it!  Best of all, the cost is FREE!  So come on out and get a run in and learn how to play a great social sport.

For our experienced rugby players…Camelback will always welcome people of all skill levels but if you are an experienced player then we look to make you better at the sport.  

***NO PRACTICE ON TUESDAY***  Camelback will only have practice on Thursday this week from 7-9pm at Longview Elementary (12th St and Indian School).  This will be our last practice for the regular season so those who are playing on Saturday please try to be there!  

FRIDAY we will be getting a team van to go up to Las Vegas for our last game.  We will be meeting at 6pm at Gilligan’s house 128 E Ellis Dr, Tempe AZ (Mill Ave & Baseline just north).  Please either call Skyler at (480) 363-7131 or Gilligan at (480) 205-0006 to make sure your seat is reserved on the van. 

Saturday our game is at 2:40pm at Charlie Frias Park.  Players should be at the field by 1:30pm.  

Sunday the team van will be heading back from Vegas.  A meeting time and location will be discussed after the game.

***IT’S ALUMNI WEEKEND***  All Camelback Alumni are welcome to attend Saturday’s home game against Scottsdale.  The game is at 1pm at the West Side Sports Complex (91st Ave & McDowell).  After the game we will have a social at Tailgate Sports Bar in Tempe (Broadway & Hardy) where we will give thanks to all alumni in attendance.  On Sunday we still have availability for the Diamondbacks vs Rockies Spring Training game at Salt River Fields at 1pm.  Tickets are FREE but you must contact Gilligan at (480) 205-0006 or markpekarik@gmail.com to reserve your seat!

Camelback Rugby will have practice on Tuesday and Thursday from 7-9pm at Longview Elementary School (12th St & Indian School).  Phoenix Rugby Club will also be joining us on Tuesday so let’s aim to make it a good week of practice!  We have a game on Saturday in Tucson against the Magpies at 3pm. 

In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, the Tucson Magpies have offered a St. Patrick’s Day pub crawl in Tucson after the game for all those who would like to participate!

Camelback will be having practice on Tuesday February 27th from 7-9pm at Longview Elementary (12th St & Indian School).  NO Practice on Thursday and no game on Saturday due to the Internationl Rugby 7’s Series USA stop in Las Vegas.
