    At Camelback Rugby Club, we are more than just a bunch of finely tuned athletes playing the beautiful game of rugby.  We are a team...a team of men, committed to some common goals.  We are committed to each other as teammates, to our community as citizens, and to our sponsors and the sport of rugby as players.

    The Camelback Rugby Club, established in 1979, is always looking for players.  With or without experience, Camelback welcomes you to come out for the team.  Tryouts are always open, and with 2 competing sides, we are sure to have a spot for you.  Our players range from very skilled, top level rep side players to extremely raw players with little experience, but a ton of

enthusiasm for the sport.    In addition to having a very competitive side, Camelback truly embraces the social aspect of the sport.  One only has to look at the recent hardware the team has won to understand this.  Camelback has earned top hardware at both the Flagstaff 10's Tournament in 2004 and the Critterfest Rugby Tournament in 2003.  Also, Camelback recently helped to form an Arizona Team for the Maggotfest Tournament in May 2005.  The nine Camelback players who went helped to earn the coveted 'Most Honored Side' Award for the weekend.
